- You Must pickup your 2026 Derby Registration Cards at Derby HQ prior to fishing.
- HQ will be at the Eagles Lodge in Mt. Mesa. Located at 12251 CA-178, Lake Isabella, CA 93240.
- HQ Hours: 8:00am to 8:00pm Fri. 3/27/26; Open 8:00am to 6:00pm Sat. & Sun. (3/28, 3/29,) & Mon. 8:00am to 6:3pm (3/30.)
The Isabella Lake Fishing Derby is offered on a NO REFUNDS basis.
Mountain weather is unpredictable - the derby is held "rain or shine."
Please monitor the weather as the derby approaches and plan accordingly.

- Your form was received. No additional emails will be sent. However, you should have received a separate receipt from our payment processor, Square. If not, please check spam and/or verify that your payment went through with your bank. If your payment was not processed, please resubmit the form and payment.
- Derby T-Shirts, Hats, and Hoodies NOT available for pre-sale. Get 'em at HQ. Drawing tickets ARE available for pre-sale at the KRV Chamber offices during normal business hours, M-F 10am to 3pm.
- Additional Parking available at the large grass field just west of HQ.
- If you are towing a boat or trailer, please use the grass field parking area - spots to turn around next to HQ are limited.
Average temperatures in the Kern Valley in March are:
Daily HIGH temperatures from 59°F to 65°F, rarely below 49°F or above 76°F. Daily LOW - 38°F to 41°F, rarely below 31°F or above 48°F.
Chances of precipitation around derby time average 13%
For Anglers Who Monitor Moon Phases:
Sunset at derby time will be around 7:15pm and it will be DARK with a 1% waning crescent on March 28th, a new moon on the 29th (0% illumination,) and 3% waning crescent on the 30th.
